Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts — 11/05/2014– Lisa Marie Jenkins has slept on a discarded couch she dragged into a wooded nook in Jamaica Plain nearly every night in the month since city officials condemned the bridge that connected the mainland to Long Island, the location of the city¬ís largest shelter, and ordered her and hundreds of other homeless people to evacuate their refuge on Boston Harbor immediately.
