Step Dancing ChampionshipsTHE WORLD IRISH STEP DANCING CHAMPIONSHIP WERE HELD AT THE HYNES CONVENTION CENTER WHERE THE COMPETITION DREW SPECTATORS FROM AROUND THE WORLD. FROM COSTUMES TO HAIR, THE DANCERS SHOWED THEIR BEST STUFF.

Boston-3/29/13- Emily Lynch from Seymour, Conn. with the Lenihan School of Irish Dance, rests o nthe cold floor in a hallway, tired after competing at The World Irish Dancing Championships being held at the Hynes Convention Center. It is only the second time in it’s 40 year history that the eight-day event is held outside Ireland and Scotland. Organizers expect twenty-thousand people from around the globe to attend the event.
