1st. Mark Garfinkel / Boston Herald02/18/2015-Revere,MA A Revere firefighter pulls Thunder to safety after she and her pal Lola ventured onto the thin ice and got stuck in the ice and frigid water. The nearly 2 hour rescue ended when Revere firefighters, in survival suits ,handed the dogs to owner Mary Sheridan.

A man who police say was threatening to jump from Boston’s Tobin Bridge, is seen climbing the bridge this evening as a police negotiator, bottom left, speaks to him through a microphone bull horn. The distraught man, who was seen by thousands of evening work commuters, climbed down shortly after sunset, after 2 hours atop the bridge.

A Boston police detective hold a suspect’s knife as he processes the scene of today’s fatal police-involved shooting of a reported terror suspect. The man died after being confronted in this parking lot by police and members of the Joint Terrorism Task Force.

HM2. Mark Garfinkel / Boston Herald01/15/2015-Milton,MA A Black Lives Matter protester is arrested after blocking this morning’s commute on route 93 north at East Milton Square. Several people exited 2 vans, laid down in the street as one of their arms, held in place by concrete, affixed to a large barrel. The morning commute was dramatically slowed for 2 hours.
