After two years of not paying the rent the Grant's landlord had given them 30 days to pack their things and leave. On the night of the eviction as Strider's grandparents, Lanette and Larry, worked to move their possessions into a rented semi-truck parked on a lot Strider and Gallagher were left in the back of the car. Tired and acting out Gallagher bit Strider who recoiled, pressing himself against the car window.

For months Bella Bond was known only as "Baby Doe."  The 2-year-old's body had been stuffed into a trash bag and washed up on a Deer Island beach June 25, 2015.  Investigators had conducted an international search, and then there was a break in the case.  Her mother, Rachelle Bond, arraigned in Dorchester District Court, on September 21, 2015, is charged with covering up the killing and improper disposal of a body.  Her boyfriend, Michael McCarthy (not shown), is charged with killing the girl because "She was a demon and it was her time to die."  Prosecutors allege the pair dumped her off the South Boston Waterfront and then got high on heroin.

A young boy gathered as much bread as he could hold at an aid station before crossing the Austrian border outside of Hegyeshalom, Hungary. The migrants found a warm welcome from the Red Cross and a group of volunteers from Hungary, Austria and Germany.  The United Nations estimates that more than half of the 4 million Syrian refugees worldwide are women and children. Migrants and refugees from Syria, Afghanistan, and other lands have fled en mass to Europe this year, in search of a better life. Four million refugees have fled Syria alone since a brutal civil war broke out after peaceful prodemocracy protests in 2011.
