Applications for Massachusetts News Photographer ID Cards (Tricards) start with an employment screening by the BPPA. Membership in the BPPA is NOT REQUIRED to obtain an ID card. The BPPA handles the first phase of application at the request of law enforcement.

Law enforcement still requires an original, signed application. Applications are not available for download for security reasons.
